Over the past 40 years, Referral has been dedicated to paying attention to the details. This customer complained of a “gray border” remaining in the rooms that were cleaned. Referral uses a special treatment pre-spray and then a small three-inch hand tool to clean the dirty, dark edges of the rooms that we clean. The “gray border” are air filtration lines that are caught between your carpet and your walls. We use the same three-inch hand tool to clean around small objects, such as the wrought iron railing mentioned above. And we have several specialty spotting solutions to remove a variety of spots and stains – including cat vomit.

Kory Celebrates One Year

Kory celebrated his one year anniversary at Referral in June. We are so thankful to have Kory as part of our team. He is an excellent technician, an extremely hard worker, and he always keeps us laughing. Kory previously earned a full-tuition scholarship and will be enrolling at IPFW in August while continuing to work at Referral part-time. Happy anniversary, Kory!

We are so excited to have Ben and Jacob joining the Referral team this summer! You are going to be very impressed when they clean for you. For the next few months, they will be training with Alan, as he teaches them the extensive knowledge he has gained in his 30 years in the cleaning and restoration industry. We also want to welcome Alexis to the Referral team! She will be maintaining our equipment at the office. This involves keeping our vans stocked and squeaky clean, keeping all of the carpet and floor cleaning equipment that we use each day in good working order and ensuring that our shop garage is organized. We are so happy to have Alexis as part of the Referral team!

Alan & Audrey Bring Home Wrigley

Alan and Audrey brought home a new puppy recently! They chose a Yorkshire Terrier from a breeder in Warsaw, IN (Visit the breeder’s website here). Audrey has been big Chicago Cubs fan her entire life, so they chose to name him Wrigley. They are so excited for their new little fur baby to join their family!

Life Hack Of The Month

Fort Wayne has kicked off the largest construction and public investment project in the City’s history. The Three Rivers Protection and Overflow Reduction Tunnel (3RPORT) will extend for five miles underneath the city at a depth of 200-feet below the earth’s surface. This should reduce the amount of neighborhood street flooding and basement back-ups. Read more about the project here.
